John I live in Buffalo, NY and I’m the director of a non-profit. Before moving to Buffalo, my  wife and I worked on humanitarian projects in Cameroon, Mexico, and the Tibetan settlements in India. My goal in writing this blog is to help non-profits (and small businesses) use technology to make their operations more efficient. There is so much important work to be done — and I know that it’s easy to get bogged down with operations. I’m interested in using web-based applications to automate and simplify business operations to save time and resources so that non-profit and small-business owners can spend more time engaged with the work that matters most.

    Hi John,

I did install your plugin, works nicely with WP 3.8, I would like to request a new feature if possible. I would like some way to track attendance, i.e. a new table ATTENDANCE with CustomerID, CurrentTimestamp, ClassID.
This would be helpful to get reports on both customer and classes.

I have some lamp experience myself and could help with the implementation if necessary.

      Hey Omar,

Thanks for the suggestion — I think this is something that would be useful to a lot of people. Right now I don’t have time for any major feature additions like this, but I will consider for the future.

In the meantime, please feel free to make an offshoot of the program to experiment with adding the features that you like.
