1. Find the student by searching for their full name.
  2. Click “Register” next to the student’s name.
  3. Select one or many classes that the student is registering for by clicking on the box next to the class name.
  4. Press the blue “Register” button at the bottom of the screen. This completes the registration process. The student’s name has now been added to the classes that were selected. They can choose to pay then or wait to make a payment later.

I am interested in this plugin, but one thing seems odd to me. Your documentation places a lot of emphasis on the signup’s name. Why don’t you index by email address and use the built-in wp capability of verifying email. That way you don’t have to care about how they spell or misspell the name.

Thanks for your thoughts! I debated this issue quite a bit, but ultimately I wanted to make the barriers to class registration as low as possible. I didn’t want users to need to create an account in order to register for a class. Since people use a variety of email addresses, phone numbers, etc — it’s difficult to unique identify a user without forcing them to create an account. So instead of making users do extra work, I put the responsibility on the staff that takes the registration. It’s a bit more work for the staff, but I think it makes it easier on the users who are registering.
